Bryan Danielson is one of the most respected figures in all of professional wrestling today. Moreover, the AEW star has established himself as a key figure in the company, both on and off the screen. However, there is one wrestler in the promotion who has always voiced his hatred for Danielson, Eddie Kingston.

The ROH World Champion recently spoke with Sports Illustrated and revealed how he felt about The Dragon. The pair are in the same league of the ongoing Continental Classic tournament. In their head-to-head bout, Bryan Danielson got the better of his longtime rival in a thriller. Kingston claimed that he doesn’t like the wrestling veteran, mentioning how he would love to break Bryan’s other eye socket.

On the most recent episode of AEW Collision, the 42-year-old punched his ticket to the Blue League final. Furthermore, he will be given another opportunity against none other than Bryan Danielson. At the end of the episode, the two men faced off in the ring ahead of their upcoming match on Wednesday.

The former WWE Champion has termed Eddie Kingston a ‘bum’ on multiple occasions. Moreover, Danielson claimed he has no respect for his counterpart. Needless to say, it will be interesting to see how their match on next week’s Dynamite plays out.

Recently, Danielson expressed his opinion on his growing responsibility in the wrestling promotion. In an interview with the Daily Mail, the 42-year-old claimed that he was ‘honored’ to help with backstage duties.

But I was honored to take on more when they asked me to take on more roles backstage. That sort of thing that’s something that I’m kind of looking at, going forward as far as like, what other things could I do besides being in the ring that could help? So yeah, so it’s been good.

Also, the former WWE superstar talked about his presence on the committee, which works to discipline and fine wrestlers accordingly. Most notably, Bryan played a major role in the decision behind the termination of CM Punk after the All In incident.
