Although AEW wrestler Kenny Omega is out of action due to diverticulitis, he often talks about wrestling in his Twitch streams. However, during one of his streams, he expressed his desire to fight in a celebrity boxing match. Interestingly, he chose WWE superstar Xavier Woods as his opponent for the boxing match. 

During a recent live stream, Kenny Omega asked his fans who they would like to see him go against in a real boxing match. He liked the idea of one fan suggesting Austin Creed, aka Xavier Woods‘ name. The Cleaner thought it would be a great fight between them. However, Omega also admitted that although they hate each other, they wouldn’t want to legitimately hurt each other.

If this match actually happens in the future, it won’t be the first time seeing both men go against each other. In 2018, Woods and his New Day members faced off against Omega and The Young Bucks in a gaming exhibition event. At the end, Woods and Omega showed mutual respect for one another by embracing, much to the joy of fans.

The Belt Collector’s presence in the squared circle has been missed dearly by fans, but unfortunately, it is still not clear when he will return. Meanwhile, Woods and Kingston found their path to WrestleMania and will compete in a six-pack ladder match for the tag titles. It will be interesting to see whether the coveted faction adds one more accolade to their names or not.  

Kenny Omega reveals which hardcore weapon hurts him the most

The Best Bout Machine has fought in multiple hardcore battles before. Therefore, it is no surprise that he has experienced a beating with some of the most dangerous weapons. Although all weapons are hurtful in their own ways, Omega revealed which weapon caused him the most pain.

During his Twitch stream, Omega was asked which weapon hurt him the most. While he has had to endure punishment from some of the deadly weapons, such as thumbtacks and glass, he named barbed wire as the most hurtful one. The 40-year-old wrestler has encountered barbed wire many times in his matches with Jon Moxley. 

I've had some bad accidents with barbed wire unfortunately. I got really destroyed in the last match where I took a superplex [on barbed wire] and I looked like I got attacked by a rabid wolverine. So just because of my luck with it … but all of those things, they're all dangerous in their own way.

Omega also shared that unorthodox artillery like Lego bricks and a video game controller’s analog sticks deal a lot of damage. Evidently, there’s a reason why fans have shown an immense amount of respect to the wrestlers, who put their bodies on the line just for their entertainment.
