“I’m gonna beat the sh*t out of him” Saraya calls out Chris Jericho for a match

AEW has given Saraya a great opportunity to get a new shot in the world of pro wrestling. Her world went into a black hole soon after the doctors deemed her unfit for in-ring action after the massive neck injury. However, Tony Khan seemed to come as a ray of hope in Saraya’s life. AEW was very clear in including her in their card after providing her with everything she desired.
Paige’s, aka Saraya’s, decision to join AEW was perplexing. While she hoped to get a call from WWE for all her past contributions, she feared that the company would keep her away from participating in action roles. Taking on the ‘ podcast,’ Saraya shed light on her AEW career up to this point and challenged Chris Jericho to a singles match.
Saraya talked about Chris Jericho and praised him for his work at the company. “If I have to beat up Chris Jericho, Jericho would be up for it. He doesn’t care, he’s a very selfless worker,” said the former WWE star. Jericho has a non-egoistic personality and lets his opponent win as and when time demands.
Despite talking about it casually, Saraya’s statement has put the AEW community in hope of the match. Saraya also heightened the excitement that her boyfriend Ronnie Radke has to see her compete against Jericho. If Ronnie steps inside the ring, he is sure to have a great storyline with Chris. The youngest WWE Divas Champion would also love to face either of the guys in the ring.

Saraya opens up on her upcoming Championship run plans
DJ Whoo Kid prompted Saraya to provide an update on her championship plans. Jade Cargill currently holds the AEW TBS Championship for the longest reign of more than a year. As Saraya entered AEW, a lot of eyes wanted her to aim for the title. However, this moment isn’t coming anytime soon.
The AEW star revealed her plans up to the top of the women’s division and claimed that she would target Jamie Hayter before going in for Cargill. Jamie was the inaugural AEW TBS Champion. Jade’s undefeated title run has scared Saraya, who feels that Jade will “kick her a**.” Saraya still needs a couple of months to work out and get back in form.
Saraya has started putting her plan into action. She and her tag team partner Toni Storm have stepped in to go against Britt Baker and Jamie Hayter. However, many speculations have been raised to welcome Mercedes Moné, aka Sasha Banks, to the AEW ring.
