AJ Styles’ heartwarming gesture for 28-year-old star following her WWE release receives widespread acclaim
A few days after the WWE release of one of his coworkers, AJ Styles personally asked her to not let it be the end of her story.

In October 2024, WWE axed one of its promising female prospects in Indi Hartwell. She was working alongside her longtime partner Candice LeRae as a tag team on SmackDown at the time. Quite recently, Hartwell captured the Renegades of Wrestling women’s title. In her latest YouTube vlog, the Aussie grappler shared what AJ Styles messaged her after she was released by WWE.
The text, as pictured below, was received on November 9. Styles asked Indi to not quit and keep hustling. The former two-time WWE Champion further told the 28-year-old to never hesitate in asking for any help that she might need in the future. AJ never publicly talked about this, but it was meant to see the light of day. Consequently, Styles’ humbling gesture has the netizens raving about him.
Hartwell’s WWE tenure lasted for about six years. She made her untelevised debut in November 2019, with her first on-screen appearance coming a month later. She’s a former NXT Women’s Champion. Even though she’s back grinding on the independent circuit once again, The Queen of Melvin is holding her own. She just made her House of Glory debut in a losing attempt against Mercedes Mone.

Indi’s WWE ouster moved Styles emotionally, but he’s someone who’s seen it all. Last month, the company released a couple of men who were close to The Phenomenal One – Luke Gallows and Carl Anderson, or simply The Good Brothers. They were brought back in 2022 under Triple H‘s regime but ended up having a forgettable stint.
Which moment had a snowball effect on AJ Styles’ WWE career?
In today’s scheme of things, AJ Styles is a legend who’s forged one heck of a legacy for himself. He’s been in this business for over twenty years. On top of that, Styles’ WWE tenure wasn’t even supposed to be a thing at first. After his surprise Royal Rumble entry in 2016, the 47-year-old didn’t have further obligations with WWE.

The Georgia Pitbull recently told Chris Van Vliet on Insight that Vince McMahon didn’t even know about him. The former WWE CEO brushed off any hype he had by saying to his face that the overwhelming crowd response to his Rumble match outing was merely a fluke. McMahon wanted Styles to act a certain way, which led WWE to book Styles on The Miz TV the following Monday.
At last, the intensity that AJ oozed during his beatdown of Miz was exactly what Vince was looking for. Mr. TNA later realized that it was a test conducted by the office that he passed with flying colors. After that, Styles went on to become a Grand Slam Champion in WWE. He’d always hold a special distinction of being The Undertaker‘s last-ever WWE opponent as well.
AJ Styles is on a collision course with Logan Paul
Wrestling, in general, hasn’t been kind to AJ Styles in recent months. In the later stages of 2024, he picked up a Lisfranc injury. It took about four months to heal. The Face That Runs the Place returned as a surprise entrant in this year’s Royal Rumble with his old theme song.

It made the fans rejoice as his Def Rebel-produced music received major backlash from the WWE Universe. At the titular event, the former TNA Champion was eliminated by Logan Paul after a below-the-belt stunt. It started the rift between them, which has now taken over Raw completely.
This past Monday in MSG, Paul was attacked by Styles, who arrived to the aid of Andrew Schulz. The Maverick had to retreat eventually. By the looks of it, they’re headed for a singles match at WrestleMania 41. Having been embarrassed by AJ already, it’d be interesting to see how Logan bounces back.
