A’ja Wilson believes ‘Klutch’ Jalen Hurts will steer Eagles to Super Bowl LIX win
WNBA superstar A'ja Wilson and Super Bowl LIX starting QB for the Philadelphia Eagles Jalen Hurts are both clients of Klutch Sports.
A'ja Wilson will support her fellow Klutch Sports star Jalen Hurts in Super Bowl LIX
Super Bowl LIX is gearing up to be a battle where one team can create history. The Kansas City Chiefs are on the verge of becoming the first team to win three straight rings. With such stakes the rest of the sporting world will be looking towards the game on Sunday. A’ja Wilson in particular will be cheering on one particular team.
The prospect of Patrick Mahomes leading his team to win the game is high. They are favored to repeat as champions owing to their ability to come out on top in clutch situations. Talks have also been thrown around of the Philadelphia Eagles possibly giving them a hard time.
But when the going gets tough, most don’t bet against the Chiefs. When A’ja Wilson was on SportsCenter to talk about her newly launched signature shoe with Nike, she was asked who she thinks will win Super Bowl LIX. Dipping into her championship winning experience, the reigning WNBA MVP said.

This was her supporting her fellow Klutch Sports client instead of who would be ‘clutch’. The two-time WNBA champion mentioned that it will be surreal to see Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs script history. But she is going with her bond with Jalen Hurts when suggesting who she will be supporting at Super Bowl LIX.
A’ja Wilson loses four core veterans from Aces
After the Super Bowl is over, A’ja Wilson’s attention will return to her Las Vegas Aces. Last season, they tried to do the same as the Kansas City Chiefs. However, she and her team could not win the semifinals battle against eventual champions, the New York Liberty.
In that series, head coach Becky Hammon was furious with the likes of Kelsey Plum. Now, Plum has joined the Los Angeles Sparks via trade which brought Seattle Storm superstar Jewell Loyd to the Aces. However, that was the only major addition for the team so far.
One of her favorite teammates over the past three years, Sydney Colson has joined Caitlin Clark‘s Indiana Fever. A while after that, Tiffany Hayes, last season’s 6th Player of the Year, chose to sign with the newest expansion team, the Golden State Valkyries.
Alysha Clark has returned to the Seattle Storm after two seasons with the Aces. That means the Aces both their back-to-back 6th Players of the Year. With that move, four veterans have moved out of the team. That leaves A’ja Wilson with a not-so-great bench to depend on.
Wilson will have rookie Elizabeth Kitley fully healthy and ready to start. She could also have a solid rookie to come in after they netted the No. 13 overall pick from the Plum-Loyd trade. But the team still needs some solid bench players if they are to contend for a championship this season.
