Alexander Volkanovski likes to practice his acting chops from time to time on social media. Volkanovski’s latest skit is about his reign as the UFC featherweight champion. In this hilarious skit, Volk talks about the highlights of his UFC career. He mentions the likes of Islam Makhachev, Brian Ortega, and others.
Alexander Volkanovski uploaded this hilarious skit on his Instagram page. The scene starts with him at a construction job talking to his co-workers. Volkanovksi begins to boast about his career in the UFC. The former champ also brings up his attempt to become a double champion when he fought Islam Makhachev.

A co-worker asks if he beat Makhachev. However, Volkanovski replies that he got robbed. He also recollects the time he lost 13 kilos in eleven days for a fight on short notice. He next talked about Ortega’s guillotine choke at UFC 266. Then Volkanovski brings up UFC 300 and Max Holloway’s incredible knockout win and how he had beaten Holloway three times.
This was not Volkanovski’s only comedic skit. He also did one during the buildup of his fight against Ilia Topuria, the fight which cost him his featherweight title. Volkanovski ended the skit by walking away from the site saying he had a rematch to prepare for. It will be interesting to see what the former champion has in store for his fans next.

Alexander Volkanovski‘s career has been on a downward trend lately. After back-to-back losses against Makhachev and losing his title to Ilia Topuria, fans have been wondering how Volkanovski plans to get back on track.

Volkanovski revealed after his loss to Topuria that he would take some time to sit back and pick himself up. The former featherweight champion is from Australia and with UFC 305 at Perth in a few months, fans wonder if Volkanovski plans to make his comeback on home ground. He recently received a callout from UFC contender Dan Ige. He has offered to take up the challenge and fight Volkanovski.
Meanwhile, from what Volkanovski had to say about Ilia Topuria wanting to move a weight class, it is clear that he still plans to fight for the title. Now whether the Australian gets a title rematch or if he has to move up the ladder and get to Topuria, only time will tell.
