Esteban Ocon in Alpine F1 Endorses Brands like Castrol

Esteban Ocon has been one such young rookie driver in the current grid, who has shown significant improvement upon hi skillset in the 2021 Formula 1 season. This has surely left his boss, Laurent Rossi making sure that Ocon’s services are acquired beyond the 2021 season for the betterment of Alpine F1.

Pierre Gasly is also out of contract at the end of the year with AlphaTauri and had been mooted as a potential replacement for Esteban Ocon if he was to be let go by the French marque after 2021 draws to a close. But with conversations already beginning with Ocon, the Alpine CEO, Laurent Rossi says the team are not talking to any other candidates for a seat alongside Alonso in 2022 as things stand, with the Spaniard already contracted for a drive next season.

“Esteban Ocon is a great driver, so I’m happy to have that type of problem – which is not [one] actually!”

We’re not looking at any drivers for next year,” Rossi concluded by stating when asked about other candidates for an Alpine seat. “Because at the moment, I’m considering obviously Esteban as we mentioned earlier on, [and] Fernando is here next year with us.”
