Twitch ASMR streamer Kaitlyn ‘Amouranth’ Siragusa has got another feather in her cap as she made a whopping $2 billion investment on Amazon, the owner of Twitch, her native streaming platform. This comes as a surprising move as she once revealed during a podcast that she is yet to bag an exclusive contract from the platform.
Given her business-oriented mindset, the streamer never hesitates to share the investments she makes on different platforms. She is bold to take risks as whenever she decides to invest in something, it is certainly not a ‘small’ amount. Amouranth revealed through a tweet that she now holds a share of 23,600 stocks in the platform.
This equals to an estimated $2 million investment, which might be a nominal amount considering how valuable the platform is, in the global market. However, it was quite unusual to see the streamer making this decision. In a follow up tweet, she stated that “Hasan taught us to own the means of production”, implying that she has purchased a share in the platform where she streams.
With this investment, she might be one of the first streamers who has decided to invest directly to the parent company of the streaming platform on Twitch. It is also a clear cut indication that she has no plans of shifting to YouTube unlike other streamers.
Amouranth is yet to bag an exclusive contract from Twitch
Despite these investments and her stats showing that she is one of top watched female Twitch streamers in the world right now, fans will be surprised to know that she has not bagged an exclusive deal with the platform or from YouTube.
She had also revealed her plans to start a Twitch game show, which she promises to be a banger, as according to her description, such kind of show has never been planned on the platform. Once the new year ushers in, it can be considered that she will reveal more details on her upcoming show.

As of now, the only confirmed thing is that she is going to host the show, which might bring in thousands of viewers, and in turn, a huge revenue for Twitch. When Amouranth had discussed this situation, she stated that YouTube caters to streamers, who host big events. Now that she is doing so, it will be interesting to see whether YouTube approaches her.
Fans react on Amouranth’s investment
Some of the users on her tweet were critical of this investment, claiming that this is just another loophole that might help her to avoid a ban on the platform. Others asked her next plan on investing somewhere.
Apart from streaming, the American glamor personality has invested in gas station companies and all of the investments are worth millions. She also revealed her plans to host an anime convention.
