Donovan Mitchell had a historic record-breaking night for himself, as he helped the Cleveland Cavaliers cruise past the Chicago Bulls with a 134-145 win on Monday. Despite having a bad first quarter, Mitchell tuned back into his bag and shot the ball like it was a video game. The Cavaliers star scored a career-high and also NBA season-high 71 points against Chicago.

Despite having a good second quarter for himself, his team was still down by 18 points at the end of the first half. However, Mitchell came in with a purpose in the 3rd and scored a massive 24 points in the quarter. Spida had an answer for every Bulls’ question from then on, he went on to score another 18 points in the 4th. Even more remarkable was his crafty putback in the last seconds to even the game at the end of regulation.

Once the game went into overtime, Chicago had no answer for Mitchell, who was playing on a different stratosphere. Cavs outscored the Bulls 4-15, of which the 3 x All-Star scored 13 points, scoring more than 3 times the Bulls’ total score.
