Former World No. 1 and French Open champion, Ana Ivanovic retired from professional tennis in 2016. However, she has been very involved with everything that is happening on the tour and recently picked her favorites on the men’s side for the French Open, which starts next week.

The Serbian highlighted that many newcomers have had unbelievable results, getting the better of several top ten players. She still feels they still haven’t shown enough consistency to make her believe they can win Grand Slam events.

In recent weeks, a lot of new players have gone far in tournaments and beaten top players. So we're going to see a lot of new faces among the men.

Despite Novak Djokovic having had a forgettable season so far, his compatriot Ivanovic believes he has all the resources required to win his fourth title on the Parisian clay. She picks him over the in-form young guns, Carlos Alcaraz and Jannik Sinner.
