“Nobody cares about,” Andy Murray plays ‘spoilsport’ as tennis fans go crazy over ‘damn cool’ Six Kings Slam promo
Andy Murray spoiled the moods of the fans as he is not excited about the Six Kings Slam, an exhibition event set to be held in Riyadh.

The tennis community was blown away after watching a promo for the Six Kings Slam. British tennis star Liam Broady was also impressed at how good the promo is, as he and many believe it’s nothing short of a movie trailer. Andy Murray, however, is of a different opinion as he hilariously spoiled the mood.
The Six Kings Slam features the likes of Novak Djokovic, Rafael Nadal, Carlos Alcaraz, Jannik Sinner, Daniil Medvedev, and Holger Rune. The five-minute film, directed by Los Perez, shows Alcaraz clashing with an android, followed by Sinner’s appearance, who was a Renaissance sculptor.
Rune, the 21-year-old from the Scandinavian country, was on a Viking longboat, while Medvedev was riding a bear. Nadal was next, as a golem of the King of Clay started to form before revealing his face, after which, 24-time Grand Slam champion Djokovic led a pack of wolves in a cold place.
Murray did not find it cool as he believes the Six Kings Slam, at the end of the day, is an exhibition event. This is why Murray feels that though there is quite an excitement over the trailer, ‘no one’ really watches exhibition events. Many tennis fans, however, said they would watch an exhibition event for the first time because of the promo.

Except it’s not a movie and you won’t watch it because it’s an exhibition tennis event that nobody cares about 👍

Six Kings Slam is criticized because it will be held in Saudi Arabia
Though the promo for the Six Kings Slam excited many, it received some harsh criticism as well, due to the venue of the tournament. It is scheduled to be held between October 16 and 19 at The Venue in Riyadh, the capital of Saudi Arabia.
Many think the country, which has been facing human rights issues, has been investing heavily in sports to improve its public image by hosting events, buying teams, or ‘luring’ some of the biggest players by paying them massive amounts. At the Six Kings Slam, players will win a minimum of £1.12million for their participation. The winner will get £4.5m, which is almost twice the prize money Sinner earned after winning his first US Open earlier this month.
The WTA Finals will be held in Riyadh from 2024-2026. Also, the Next Gen ATP Finals was the first-ever ATP Tour-sanctioned tennis event held in Saudi Arabia last year.
