Andy Roddick has reacted to Taylor Swift’s endorsement of American Democratic Presidential candidate Kamala Harris after a debate with former President Donald Trump. The Grammy Award singer announced that she researched various issues before pledging to vote for Harris in the upcoming elections in November.
Swift took to Instagram, where she made the announcement along with a picture of herself with her cat. In her caption, she stated that she had watched the Presidential debate and had researched several key issues.
The American singer then said that she would be casting her vote for Kamala Harris and Tim Walz in the upcoming elections. To some, this comes as no surprise as the 14-time Grammy winner has been vocal against Trump’s policies.
Taylor Swift recently faced criticism for hugging Patrick Mahomes’ wife, Brittany, at the US Open men’s singles final. This was due to Brittany being a staunch supporter of Trump.
Former World No. 1 Roddick took to X to express his reaction to Swift’s endorsement of Harris and Walz.

Andy Roddick praises Aryna Sabalenka following her dream US Open triumph
Away from politics, Andy Roddick heaped praise on Aryna Sabalenka for her remarkable performance in the 22024 US Open women’s singles final. The Belarusian star, with an excellent all-round performance, beat home favorite Jessica Pegula 7-5, 7-5 to win her maiden title in New York and second Grand Slam of the year.
Sabalenka won the Australian Open in January, beating Qinwen Zheng in straight sets in the final, which was followed by a trophy-less six months. She then got back to winning titles at the Cincinnati Open, just before heading to New York for the US Open.
After she clinched the title, Roddick took to social media to praise her for her grit and hard work. He also spoke highly of Pegula, who finished as the runner-up.
@SabalenkaA seems to get better and better w intentional work and grit. All without ever losing her sense of humor. Cheers to the champ. Also huge props to @JPegula. In the men’s singles, Jannik Sinner beat Taylor Fritz in straight sets to end the hopes of an American winning a singles title (men’s or women’s) at the US Open. While Fritz became the first American man since 2003 to reach the final, he had to settle for a runner-up finish.
