Essentially, she put to bed any rumors of her possibly being in a relationship with a man. After all, the topic of her personal life has been going around on social media circles ever since the 2023 NCAA Championship.

The now 21-year-old has been constantly linked with others. Initially, she was linked with rapper NBA Youngboy. She shut down those rumors even before they caught fire. Then the taunting and win over Caitlin Clark and the Iowa Hawkeyes helped her fame explode, eventually drawing even more rumors.

She has also been rumored to have dated a college basketball star during her time with LSU. However, now, with her latest clarification, it seems she is single. With the WNBA Draft around the corner, Reese is looking forward to starting her professional career in basketball.

Angel Reese set to fire up the WNBA

Angel Reese decided to forego her 5th year of eligibility and declare for the upcoming WNBA Draft. In a draft headlined by Clark, the forward and center positions are crowded with talent. Cameron Brink, Kamilla Cardoso, and Aaliyah Edwards are scheduled to be taken with the lottery picks considering their talent. That makes Reese a possibility at No. 7 with the Minnesota Lynx.

However, the most important aspect will be her stardom. Never before have women’s basketball players entered the league with this level of fame. If her time at LSU is anything to go by, the Lynx can ride her fame. Even match that of their men’s counterpart Minnesota Timberwolves.

She is also working on developing her shooting range. Once that is set and given her already prodigious talent on the boards and blocks, it is only a matter of time before she starts making her name in the pros.
