Angel Reese is one of the few people in the WNBA who had her moment of shine early in their career. However, everything has a cost, and Reese went on to give people a reality check on her podcast, Unapologetically Angel. The Chicago Sky rookie did not hesitate to spill her personal thoughts and experience on the subject.

In the latest episode of Angel Reese’s newly launched podcast, the rookie sat down with Polo G for a cup of truth. The duo explored the subject of advice rather than disclaimers they wished they had gotten before starting their careers. Reese reflected on the misconceptions veiling the people as they are unaware of the cost of fame. The 22-year-old expressed her desire to live a normal life.

Just being able to walk down the street casually and not have to take pictures and sign autographs. Sometimes I just want to live a normal, 22-year-old life.

The Chicago Sky rookie has had an incredible performance with the team. However, picking up the fame and fortune from the beginning of her career has gotten her more criticism than praise. One of them is the consistent efforts of the internet to spite her against fellow WNBA player Caitlyn Clark.

Recently, Angel Reese found herself on the bad side of fame and expressed her feelings on X. The WNBA player has been linked to several men despite clarifying her relationship status as single. In a recent tweet, Reese admitted that it was getting weird for people to link her with anybody and everybody.

Angel Reese’s motive behind starting her podcast

Angel Reese is one of the most talked about players in the WNBA. With her level of fame, some people on the internet often try to capitalize on her by introducing fake narratives. Amidst the chaos, Reese found herself with the newly launched podcast Unapologetically Angel, where, she clarified, the people could be their ‘authentic selves.’

The Chicago Sky rookie had another reason for the podcast, as revealed on her X handle. Reposting a tweet from another user, the tweet read the reason for Reese’ podcast. The platform would provide her a space to ‘dismiss all the fake narratives’ people put on social media to get engagement.

Angel Reese has already launched 2 volumes of the season one of her podcast, both being total hits. With Reese’s rookie season cut short due to her wrist injury, she will have more time to shoot her episodes. The next episode’s teaser featuring American pop-artist Latto has already caused a stir among the fans.
