Anthony Edwards asks Karl Anthony-Towns to ‘stop fu**ing fouling’ in hilarious presser after sweeping Suns in playoffs

Karl-Anthony Towns and Anthony Edwards

Karl-Anthony Towns was on fire during Game 4 of the playoffs between the high-flying Minnesota Timberwolves and the Phoenix Suns. After the game, KAT, alongside Anthony Edwards, was asked what he noticed different about Game 4 compared to the previous three fixtures.

However, before he could respond, Anthony Edwards cut in and said what he told Karl-Anthony Towns to do to make things easier for them as they attempted to close the series.

Let me just say, tonight, he wasn’t in foul trouble. The first three games, the motherf**ker just kept fouling. What did I tell you last game? … ‘KAT, we not gonna win Game 4 if you keep fouling.’... He’s the best offensive player on the team. If he’s not in foul trouble, it’s a problem for any team that has to guard us because he can stretch the floor. He can post. He can pass. He can do everything…. I mean just stop f**king fouling..

The Minnesota Timberwolves had a clean sweep of the Phoenix Suns last night, winning 122-116, with Ant-Man being the difference maker with 40 points, nine rebounds, and six assists. He was ably supported by KAT, who came up with 28 points, ten rebounds, and three assists, as he made a huge difference with his shooting and presence on the court.

Before last night’s contest, KAT couldn’t shake off foul trouble as it cost the team, who had to struggle in his absence.

Karl-Anthony Towns has good words for teammate Anthony Edwards

The Timberwolves, led by Anthony Edwards, dispatched the Phoenix Suns in a flawless victory, and while discussing the game, Edwards tried to play the humility card. However his teammate KAT wasn’t buying all that.

He a young star, he over here talking like that s***. He the face of the league. I’ve been saying that. He hate when I say it, but it’s true. Like I said, future’s so bright, I got to put the sunglasses on most of the time when I’m walking around with him.

With Edwards believing he could be the best player in the league in two to three years, and he demonstrated that with his performances against the Suns. He ended the series by averaging 31 points, 8 rebounds, and 6.3 assists while shooting 51.2% from the field and 43.8% beyond the arc.

The Timberwolves are going to face the winners of the Denver Nuggets-Los Angeles Lakers tie, with the Nuggets being 3-1 up and in pole position to make it through. Edwards can make his mark if he performs the unthinkable and helps knock out the defending champions, if the opportunity comes.
