Popularly known as ‘Ant-Man’, Anthony Edwards is an American professional basketball player. He plays as a shooting guard for the Minnesota Timberwolves in the NBA. 

Anthony Edwards’ early life

Born in Atlanta, Georgia, he was pulled towards basketball after watching his brothers play the sport. The early days of his childhood were more about playing football, however, Edwards fetched his dreams as a basketball player in college. He committed to Georgia as a freshman under coach Tom Crean. His early achievements included the prestigious SEC Freshman of the Year award, SEC 2nd team selection, and being named as the Jerry West finalist.
