Chronic Traumatic Encephalopathy or CTE is known to be one of the biggest concerns when it comes to NFL players suffering frequent head injuries and concussions on the football field. The thing about this progressive degenerative disease is it cannot be confirmed until a person has died. That’s why, a recent autopsy report revealed 345 out of 376 NFL players suffered from CTE.

Given the facts about the disease, newly-retired Jason Kelce’s admission about having it came as a big shocker within the industry. It happened on Saturday when an X user trolled the legendary center for suffering from CTE to believe the conspiracy theory that steroids cause enlarged hearts.

But instead of reacting negatively to the user’s accusation about the brain disease, Kelce surprisingly guaranteed to have CTE. Especially since during his 13-year-long NFL career, he endured head injuries repeatedly due to his position as the center.

The shocking admission by the former Philadelphia Eagles legend drew an interesting five-word reaction from former NFL wide receiver Antonio Brown

First step is admitting it.

Brown is often trolled for his antics suggesting he has CTE for his bizarre tweets, however, he always denied it. But with the increased CTE comments, he created a social media page with the name ‘CTEPSN’ to troll the ESPN network.

Jason Kelce apologizes for Secretariat steroid claims

Apart from his viral admission of having CTE, the former NFL center supported the conspiracy theory about the iconic Secretariat horse being fed with steroids that led to his death. It drew a lot of heat from horse racing fans to the extent that Kelce had to issue an apology.

He acknowledged the lack of substantial evidence to prove the claim and apologized for contributing to the conspiracy theory.

I’m not trying to take away from Secretariat’s, or anyone from that eras legacy. You’re right, without proof it is unfair to assume these things publicly, I apologize.

Unfortunately, Kelce’s apologies couldn’t win over the offended fans who condemn the legend for corroding the reputation of the Secretariat, without any concrete evidence to prove his claim of steroids.
