Antonio Conte says he wants to return to England one day

Former Chelsea coach Antonio Conte has said that he plans to return to the Premier League someday. The Blues manager won the league with Chelsea in 2016/17 in remarkable fashion.

Chelsea were in a very bad position in the 2015/16 season having finished 10th and appointed Conte to do some damage control. The Italian coach left his job in Juventus to head for London.

Antonio Conte who’s now in charge of Italian club Inter Milan has come out and opened up about his interest in teh Premier League. The Italian spent two seasons in England and won the league and the FA Cup. It’s easy to say that his reputation for winning trophies is well supported.

“I have this season and another year of my contract at Inter.

“I started a project here, and, honestly, I want to continue this project and stay for many years because we are building the bases.

But, for sure, in my future, I want to come back to England to have another experience because I enjoyed my stay there a lot and to breathe the atmosphere in England.

“For me, for my family, I’d like to one day come back to England because we lived an incredible experience and we want to continue to have another experience in England.”

Conte reached the finals of the UEFA Europa league this season. However his side lost to Spanish club Sevilla in the last hurdle. Conte will be hoping they make reparations this season.
