Heists are one of the most popular and lucrative ways to earn money in GTA Online. They are fun, less grindy and retain the criminality of the lore in GTA Online. They are so popular that Rockstar continues to add them to the 8-year old game. In this article, we will go over the different apartment heists, the setups and their costs, the finale and payouts. Apartment Heists in GTA Online Explained:

These are the first Heists added to GTA Online. They feature Lester contacting people for different jobs and the player executing them. They require high-end apartments to start. These can be purchased from the Dynasty 8 real estate website. There are 5 different apartment heists:

1.Fleeca Job:

Description- Loot a bank on the highway to prove your worth as a heist member

Setup Cost- $11,500

Potential Reward or take- $57,500(easy), $115,000(medium), $143,750(hard)

Players required: 2

Elite challenges- Compete under 5:20 minutes, Vehicle Damage stays under 6%, Nobody dies to earn extra $50,000

Setups:

Scope out- Observe and analyze the security at the bank, collect some equipment from Paige and go back to the apartment to plan it out

Kuruma- Steal a high powered Armoured Kuruma from a gang in a Del Perro Parking lot. This is the getaway vehicle for the finale

Finale:

Rob the Fleeca Bank. The driver is also in charge of crowd control while the driller hacks into the security system of the bank and then steals the cash from locker 167. They then continue to escape by a cargo bob helicopter while escaping the cops

2.Prison Break:

Description- Break Rashovsky out of prison for a big payout

Setup Cost- $40,000

Potential Reward or take: $200,000(easy), $400,000(medium), $500,000(hard)

Players Required- 4

Elite Challenge- Rashkowsky takes only 1% damage, extraction in under 4:40 minutes, Nobody dies to earn extra $100,000

Setups:

Plane– Steal a Velum 5-seater plane from the McKenzie airfield. This will be used to escort Rashkovsky in the Finale

Bus- Hijack, steal and store a Prison Bus safely form a convoy. This will be used to enter inside the Bollingbroke prison safely disguised as prison guards

Station- 2 people try to recover Rashkowsky’s stolen car from the LS docks. The other 2 try to infiltrate a police station dressed as cops to steal the prison transport schedule to find out when Rashkovsky is being moved

Wet Work- 2 people have to eliminate lawyers and steal their depositions against Rashkovsky. The other half has to dispatch Rashkowsky’s business partners

Finale:

Ground team gets inside Bollingbroke Prison in the prison bus to try and rescue Rashkowsky. The demolition team takes care of inbound Prison Buses and tries to find Rashkovsky. They then proceed to escort him safely. The pilot meets with them, picks them up and all attempt to escape

3.Humane Labs Raid:

Description- Infiltrate the Humane Labs and steal important files form Merryweather. Deliver them to your contact for a payout

Setup Cost- $54,000

Potential Reward or take: $270,000(easy), $540,000(medium), $675,000(hard)

Players Required- 4

Elite Challenges- Complete under 11:00 minutes, vehicle damage under 2%, Nobody dies to earn extra $100,000

Setups:

Keycodes- Meet a contact and receive keycodes from him. Be aware for any kind of interruption

Insurgents- Steal 2 insurgents from the Merryweather test site. These insurgents will be fitted with an EMP device to use in the finale

EMP- Steal an EMP device from the Hydra Jump Jet. This Jump Jet belongs to Merryweather so expect heavy resistance

Valkyrie- Steal a Valkyrie Helicopter from Merryweather at the LS Port. Fight off any enemies and deliver it safely

Deliver Emp- Fit the EMP device inside an Insurgent and park it inside the Humane Labs without getting spotted. This will be used in the finale to disable lights, security system and reinforcements in the finale

Finale:

Infiltrate the Humane Labs and steal their files. Ground team goes in after activating the EMP while the air team destroys reinforcements. The air team then collects the ground team and escapes

4.Series A Funding:

Description- Raid a narco organization, steal their product and deliver it to your contact

Setup Cost- $40,400

Potential Reward or take: $202,000(easy), $404,000(medium), $505,000(hard)

Players Required- 4

Elite Challenges- Complete in under 6:30 minutes, Kill 75 enemies, Nobody dies to earn extra $100,000

Setups:

Coke: Steal some coke from a frat party and deliver it to Ron

Trash Truck: Do your rounds in a trash truck and collect the Vagos drops. Fight off any enemy Vagos and return to ron

Weed: Steal a huge Weed shipment from the Ballas along with a machine gun truck attachment and deliver it back to Ron

Meth: Steal a meth shipment from the O’Neil brothers

Finale:

Go to the warehouse, help move the product while fighting off any Vagos or Ballas that stand in your way.

5. Pacific Standard Heist:

Description- Bring down and loot the biggest bank in Los Santos and escape safely with the money. This will be the biggest bank hit in Los Santos

Setup Cost- $100,000

Potential Reward or take: $500,000(easy), $1,000,000(medium), $1,250,000(hard)

Players Required- 4

Elite Challenges: Complete in under 10:00 minutes, NOOSE not called, Nobody dies for extra $100,000

Setups:

Vans: Steal a Post OP Van fitted with a transponder to disable the bank’s Dye Packs. Different vans need to be photographed to find the right one

Signals: Bring the Transponder to Avi Shchwartzman. He is hiding out in North Chumash. He can program the transponder to identify the dye packs

Hack: Steal a hacking device from a heist crew. Kill the guards, swap a dummy van with the real van containing the hacking device, distract the guards and bring it back to Paige

Convoy: Hijack a convoy in Blaine County to get the thermal charges needed to open the secuirty doors inside the bank. Expect heavy cop resistance

Bikes: Steal special getaway bikes for the heist. These have special boosts fitted to them for faster escapes. These are owned by the Lost MC Motorcycle club so stay cautious for any enemies chasing you down. Fight them and secure the bikes

Finale:

Hit the Pacific Standard Bank in Vinewood Boulevard. Control the crowd, break the doors with the thermal charges, hit the vault, collect what you can and get out. During the escape, there is heavy police resistance and every time a crew member gets shot, the take reduces. Make your escape on the bikes, lose the cops, lay low and deliver the cash to Lester’s warehouse.

Bonus Rewards:

These heists also have collective rewards:

First time bonus- Grants extra $100,000 for each heist completed the first time

All in order bonus- Grants extra $1,000,000 for all the setups and finales done in order

Loyalty Challenge- Grants extra $1,000,000 for all setups and heists done with the same team

Criminal Mastermind Challenge- Grants extra $10,000,000 for completing all the above challenges and not losing a life in any of the heists.
