It is no secret that Angel Di Maria is set to play his final game for Argentina in the Copa America final. The 36-year-old has been a central figure in the national team for next to two decades and will play his last on the 14th of July against Colombia in the Copa America final. Despite being far from his best, his importance to Lionel Scaloni‘s squad cannot be undermined.

From the 2022 World Cup final to the 2021 Copa America and 2008 Olympics final, the player has grabbed a goal in every single final he’s played in for La Albiceleste! Fans are hoping that he’ll do the same as Argentina look to successfully defend their title against James Rodriguez and co. Ahead of the final, Angel Di Maria admitted that he is nowhere close to admitting his ‘sad’ reality.

Argentina throw shade at Drake after beating Canada to qualify for the Copa America final

Canadian rapper and singer Drake placed a $300,000 bet on his home country to beat Argentina in the semi-final of the Copa America. To nobody’s surprise, Lionel Messi‘s men secured a comfortable victory over the men in red, although Jesse Marsch‘s men did well to resist the reigning champions. Following the game, Argentina’s social media team made sure that they responded in style to Drake.
