Colombian singing sensation Shakira is set to perform in the Copa America final at the Hard Rock Stadium in Miami. The eagerly anticipated 2024 Copa America final will feature Lionel Messi‘s Argentina against either Uruguay or Colombia.

The 47-year-old singer, who is known for her popular hits like ‘Hips Don’t Lie’, will make her debut performance at this American soccer tournament. Shakira will perform during half-time, with an anticipated audience of 54,000 enthusiastic fans. CONMEBOL chief Alejandro Dominguez expressed excitement about Shakira’s performance, lauding her global impact and a perfect fit for the Copa America’s theme of unity and sportsmanship.

The Barranquilla-born singer might also get the chance to support her home country if they reach the final. Shakira is no stranger to the football world, having performed at multiple FIFA World Cups.
