He went on to reveal that they shook hands at UFC 300 and said Green finally understood not to joke around with him. Both Tsarukyan and Green secured a win at UFC 300. Tsarukyan got a split decision win against Charles Oliveira. Meanwhile, Green secured a unanimous decision win over Jim Miller.

UFC 300 judge apologised to Arman Tsarukyan for wrong decision
Arman Tsarukyan’s win against Charles Oliveira was a close one. He won by split decision but he had been complaining about misjudgement of one of the rounds right from the start. However, during his conversation with Daniel Cormier, Tsarukyan revealed that one of the judges had actually admitted to making a wrong decision.

Tsarukyan told Cormier that the UFC 300 judge had talked to his coach and apologized admitting that he was wrong. This was a close call because a slight misjudgment could have changed the entire course of Tsarukyan’s career. Judges cannot afford to be wrong and Tsarukyan said if he had lost because of a judge’s wrong decision it would have killed his career.
Tsarukyan got the opportunity to fight Islam Makhachev in a rematch for the lightweight title immediately after UFC 300. However, he declined the offer stating that he wanted to be fully prepared before he stepped into the octagon against the champion.
