We spent time with the team. We had fun, we had drinks, good food you know. We need to feel this relief and yeah. [Margarita?] A lot of margaritas.
Aryna Sabalenka said about her winning celebrations.

Sabalenka has great fondness for margaritas as she had revealed after her win in Cincinnati. She even recommended that everyone try it. On the other hand, the men’s singles champion in Cincinnati, as well as the US Open, Jannik Sinner continued his usual celebrations with great food.

Back in Cincinnati, the Italian had said that he does not drink and instead enjoys sweets. In New York too, Sinner celebrated his win with hamburgers.

Sinner and Sabalenka scripted history for themselves as the two players won their maiden US Open titles. While Sabalenka beat Jessica Pegula 7-5, 7-5 to lift the trophy, Sinner eased past Taylor Fritz in straight sets.
