With professional wrestling becoming more and more mainstream over the past few years, WWE superstars have gained immense popularity on social media. As is the case with most celebrities, these wrestlers have to deal with a lot of toxicity and harassment on social media. Unfortunately, Asuka has also recently become a victim of such online harassment.

Asuka posted on X a message that she had received from Facebook regarding her account being suspended. A ‘third party’ had reported her account for trademark infringement. The party claimed that she used copyrighted footage that originally belonged to WWE. The social media site took action against her without checking that she had mostly posted her own footage that was owned by the company she wrestled for.

The email ID used to file the infringement report was anonymous. The Japanese superstar asked these ‘third parties’ to stop harassing her as her Facebook account has already been banned multiple times. Frustrated with these issues, she joked on X that she was thinking about shutting down all her social media accounts.

Will Ospreay‘s posts on X have also been taken down after he re-posted footage of his matches from AEW. Although not of a similar nature, Rhea Ripley has also dealt with plenty of social media harassment. Many Liv Morgan stans were unhappy with how much the Eradicator’s recent success in WWE. Thus, they accused her of sleeping with Triple H for success in her career. Furthermore, they made several vulgar edits of them together.

Rhea Ripley shot back at these remarks by saying that some people did not understand the importance of hard work and dedication in their careers. Thus, they made up such delusional stories to make them feel better about themselves.

What is the update on Asuka’s injury?

Asuka had her last WWE match at Backlash France earlier this year in May. She teamed up with Kairi Sane to defend their WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship against Bianca Belair and Jade Cargill. Unfortunately for her, she lost the tag gold and would go on to take a hiatus from WWE due to her knee injury.

The first Women’s Royal Rumble Winner had already been going through pain in her leg since before WrestleMania XL. However, she stuck it out as long as she could. The 42-year-old likely wanted to avoid an abrupt exit and having to vacate her gold.

During her appearance at a SuperShow in Japan, she revealed that she was still forced to wear braces and her leg was not fully healed. There is still no official confirmation or even an estimate of when the Empress of Tomorrow could return to WWE. Some reports suggest that she will not be coming back to WWE programming until 2025.
