Norway’s middle- and long-distance runner Jakob Ingebrigtsen beats Olympic Champions to win gold at the World Athletics Championships. After losing Gold to Jake Whiteman last Tuesday, Jakob Ingebrigtsen pays back to his disappointment by winning the men’s 5000m title. The Norwegian clocked 13 minutes and 9.24 seconds to finish on the top of the podium.

Kenya’s Jacob Krop stood second with 13:09.98, whereas Uganda’s Oscar Chelimo was third with 13:10.20 clock time. The race had to be one of the most watched events of the championship as it was contested by, three of the reigning Olympic Champions.
