The Jamaican legend, Usain Bolt has been an ardent supporter of the English football club Manchester United. Time and again, Bolt has shown his support for the Red Devils and was in attendance at Old Trafford for their Champions League game against Villa Real. The last couple of weeks has been tough for United with them losing some crucial encounters in the league.
Their bad run has sparked calls for the sacking of their manager, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer. The Red Devils lost to Leicester City 4-2 on 16th October and before their 5-0 thrashing at the hands of Liverpool FC on 24th October. Most recently they lost the Manchester derby to their arch-rivals 2-0.

The poor run has the United fans in a frenzy and Usain Bolt is no different. Bolt feels that it is time for Solskjaer from the helm. The Jamaican added that Italian manager Antonio Conte could have been a good choice. Conte was first linked to Manchester United before he was roped in by the Tottenham Hotspurs.
“I wanted [Antonio] Conte,” Bolt said. “He is going to do so well at Spurs. He is going to get them organised.”
“He has been at Chelsea – he won a title,” he points out about Conte. “He’s been at Inter Milan – he’s won a title. He’s been at Juve – he’s won a title. Everywhere he goes, he structures the team so well. In January, he is probably going to get one or two players, then at the end of the season he is probably going to find proper players and bring them in.”
The recent transfer window saw Cristiano Ronaldo return to the theatre of dreams. Bolt is excited to see the legnederay baller back at his boyhood club. The legendary sprinter pointed out that things were different under the leadership of Sir Alex Ferguson and that passion is missing in the side.
“We are going to struggle,” Usain Bolt said. “Cristiano [Ronaldo] has saved us every game. One guy has to do all that work. We have not played good football in so long. It is so relaxed. We pass so slowly. When Alex Ferguson was manager, we had to win because he would demand you win.”
