It hasn’t been an ideal start to the season for Hubert Hurkacz so far. After three convincing victories, he lost to Robert Bautista Agut in the semifinal of the ATP Cup. After showing a lot of promise last year, Lorenzo Musetti had a nightmare start to the 2022 season. He started his season in Adelaide where he couldn’t win a single match in two tournaments. He was then knocked out of the Australian Open in the first round to Alex de Minaur. At the Maharashtra Open last week, he defeated Aleksandar Vukic in the second round before bowing out of the quarterfinal to Kamil Majchrzak. This week, he survived Mikale Ymer’s test in the opening round in three sets 6-3,6-7(4),6-3 to book a date with Hurkacz.
