Russian home favourite Andrey Rublev rallied against Denis Shapovalov to win the semifinal match in 3 sets 4-6, 6-3, 6-4. Whereas, in a three-setter, Borna Coric had to defeat the Canadian Milos Raonic. Coric won 1-6, 6-1, 6-4 against Raonic.
Rublev is the third seed and faced a tough match against Ugo Humbert. He defeated Humbert in the round of 16 by 4-6, 6-4, 7-5.
