The top three stylish rivalries in tennis in chronological order.

  1. Bjorn Borg vs. John McEnroe

Bjorn Borg formed one of tennis’ eternal rivalries with John McEnroe. McEnroe, an American was known for his hot head and tantrums, and Borg was known for being ice cold. Together they were called “Fire and Ice”. Both fashion icons in their own right, the 70’s and 80’s were ruled by these two well dressed men.

  1. Andre Agassi vs. Pete Sampras

The 90’s belonged to Pete Smapras and Agassi. Agassi with his tight shorts and long flowing blond hair was adored by the girls. His shorts were called the lava shorts. Sampras the shy and quiet guy was always dressed modestly, except for when he decided to wear khaki shorts.

Federer has always dressed perfectly on the tennis court. His all black for the US Open, or all white for Wimbledon were very popular. Nadal started with three quarters on the court, but as the years went by he shifted to shorts too. But, his style of adjusting the back of the shorts still remains intact.
