Spider-Man Homecoming was a huge success for Marvel Studios in 2017. However, many are unaware of the fact that a WWE Superstar had a cameo in the successful film. The star in question is none other than Austin Theory, who recently talked about his experience working in the movie.
Speaking on Insight with Chris Van Vliet, Theory revealed that they filmed that scene in an actual prison. Although it was terrifying due to the inmates, it was a surreal experience, averred the WWE star. Theory also dropped a hint, saying that the studio might bring him back now that scene has blown up on the internet.
Although having a Hollywood career in a franchise like Spider-Man could be huge for Theory, many have predicted that he has a brighter future in WWE. The Unproven One is currently in a tag team with Grayson Waller on SmackDown, where they have been chasing tag team gold. The duo lost their titles in July after claiming them during a ladder match at WrestleMania XL.

There is a possibility of a Theory babyface turn that could potentially be a game-changing move for his career in the company. It depends on whether Triple H plans to pull the trigger on the breakup of A-Town Down Under in the months to come.
Austin Theory reflects on his failed Money in the Bank cash-in
Austin Theory became Mr. Money in the Bank in 2022. Although fans had high expectations from him, his cash-in attempt ended up being a massive failure. In November 2022, he surprisingly cashed in his contract on Seth Rollins for the US Title but lost the match.
Speaking on Insight, Theory said that there were no plans for him and the briefcase. He called it a tough spot, as Roman Reigns was the Undisputed Champion at that time. Therefore, his contract opportunity got lost in the thick of things.
The Unproven One admitted that cashing in on The OTC would have been an entertaining moment. However, WWE had different plans for both him and Reigns that led to his eventual US Title victory and a dream match with John Cena at WrestleMania 39.
