American tennis ace Serena Williams looked to be in imperious touch as she continues her quest for her record 24th Grand Slam. She cruised through to the fourth round today after defeating Anastasia Potapova in straight sets. So far, Serena has faced only unseeded players in the open and her first real test will arrive in the fourth round when she takes on seventh seed, Aryna Sabalenka.

The Belarusian star is also in terrific form at the moment as she is getting past opponents at will using her aggressive style of play. She started 2021 with the Abu Dhabi Open title and will look to go all the way in the Australian Open as well. Her match against Serena will thus, be a battle of raw power to watch out for.

“It’s always a big challenge to play against this kind of players. We are all here for the wins and I’m gonna do everything,” she added with utmost confidence. If she does manage to beat Serena in the fourth round, it should give her the confidence to go all the way and potentially clinch her first singles Grand Slam title.
