In the ten races that have happened so far, Red Bull Racing have definitely established their dominance with numerous race wins and podium finishes in almost all the Grands Prix. Even though the team started out in this season with some terrible reliability issues, they worked to solve those problems and now, they seem virtually invincible when compared to their Championship rivals like Mercedes and Ferrari.

But Red Bull have still got more tricks up their sleeves as they are about to bring some updates to the Austrian Grand Prix to further extend the gap between them and the other teams. The Red Bull Ring, which is the home to the Austrian GP, will see some interesting actions as this will be the second Sprint weekend this year. And fans are stoked to see how Red Bull perform in their home ground with the new upgrades while Mercedes and Ferrari have chosen to skip adding any updates to their cars this time.

Austrian GP is about to fire up with the Red Bull RB-18 with its new upgrades

Red Bull have decided to introduce some updates to their car in Austria, even though the schedule for this weekend is a bit different for the Sprint Race, and they will get less time for running Free Practice sessions. The Qualifying for the Spielberg Sprint will take place on Friday, with the Sprint Race on Saturday and the Main Race will be held on Sunday. As there will be only one FP session for this week, many teams have chosen to save the upgrades for the next races, but Red Bull has decided to take the risk.

According to Spanish F1 journalist Albert Fabrega, the FIA published a document outlining the upgrades that Red Bull will be getting for their car in the upcoming Austrian Grand Prix.

According to the reports, Mercedes and Ferrari have no plans to add any new parts to their cars at the Austrian Grand Prix. In the other hand, McLaren, Alpine and Williams do have some upgrades planned. McLaren will reportedly add new rear brakes and a new rear wing, while Alpine will go for a new rear wing, and Williams has planned for a new front suspension specification.
