Stephen Curry sunk his 4000th career three-pointer in yesterday’s game against the Sacramento Kings. Clinching the victory, the Golden State Warriors star created history with his personal milestone. His wife, Ayesha Curry, was also present in the stands to cheer him on during the celebration.

Stephen Curry‘s achievement was recognized after the 130-104 win as the stadium erupted into a cheer. Starting the match, he was only 2 buckets short of 4000, shooting in the first and third quarter. The group also shared a video ahead of the historic milestone to congratulate Curry. Notably, Dell Curry, Seth Curry, Kelsey Plum, Andre Iguodala, De’Aaron Fox, and a few others were featured in the video. Several in the NBA, such as LeBron James, also went on to express their wishes to the 4k champion. With Curry far ahead of his contemporaries, he is yet to be surpassed.

The wishes kept rolling as Steph Curry turned 37 a day later. The team, along with coach Steve Kerr, had a special celebration of their own in the locker room. Back in 2021, he had stunned the audience after surpassing Ray Allen to take the most three-pointers title. With last night’s match, the Warriors are heading well towards clinching their 5th ring, especially after the inclusion of Jimmy Butler.

Steph Curry’s hilarious reason to give the 4k 3-pointer ball to Ayesha Curry

Unfortunately, Ayesha Curry missed Stephen Curry’s record-breaking 2,974th 3-pointer on December 14, 2021. To compensate for it, she made sure to be present on this record, considering the entrepreneur had attended all of Curry’s games as of late.

A couple of games ago, she also witnessed him score the 25k point of his career. After yesterday’s performance, the fans noted the now historic ball was taken by the Warriors star who gave it to his wife. In a post-match interview, the four-time champion shared the amusing story with the media.

Considering she was not in New York for the previous benchmark, she was given a major duty by the NBA star. Like he shared, Ayesha was responsible for safekeeping the ball till it got home. Notably, the ball from the previous milestone in 2021 was kept as a souvenir by Dell Curry. The Warriors superstar further highlighted the dynamics of the team being welcoming to families.

Praising his coach Steve Kerr, Curry shared how he had inculcated a familiar atmosphere in practices and such. He was the person who had seen him and other players mature along with their households. Suffice it to say, he shared that relationship with him both on and off court, steering them to celebrate it together. The fans are waiting to see what record the Warriors star player breaks next.
