In 2025, Monday Night Raw is finally moving from the traditional cable network to the streaming platform, Netflix. With such a massive change in the programming, WWE is likely to shake things up in the weeks to come. Amid these speculations, a massive report has emerged on the roster status of potentially the biggest WWE star, Roman Reigns.
According to WrestleVotes Radio – Backstage Pass, The OTC is likely to be featured more often on Monday Night Raw than on SmackDown. The report added that Netflix is aware of the immense popularity of the former Undisputed Champion. Therefore, they would like to capitalize on the popularity by heavily featuring him on the show during the initial period.
Additionally, the report suggests that Roman Reigns is set to be part of Friday Night SmackDown, seemingly making him a free agent. Fans are expecting him to face The Rock, who will also be a major attraction for Raw on Netflix. Therefore, Reigns could be doing double duty for the majority of 2025.
There are plans for Roman Reigns to be on RAW more so than SmackDown for at-least the beginning of 2025.

Moreover, WWE has featured him in their promotional posts for their Netflix debut next year, making his move to the red brand quite likely. The streaming giant prioritizes having CM Punk and Logan Paul on the show alongside The Needle Mover. As such, the field for Monday nights could be more jam-packed than ever, starting in January.
CM Punk talked about a potential face-off with Roman Reigns ahead Raw moving to Netflix
CM Punk and Roman Reigns are two of the biggest stars in WWE. Since the arrival of The Best in the World to the company, WWE fans have been anticipating the face-off between the two stars. Recently, Punk talked about his bond with The OTC while discussing a potential program with him down the line.
Speaking on the Cheap Heat podcast, The Straight Edge Superstar highlighted the fact that they are on different shows. However, they saw each other at WrestleMania XL. While he did not disclose the details of the interaction, Punk did not look enthralled with it at all. He mentioned that if the fans want to explore the bond between the two, they should be tuning to Raw in 2025.
