In the past few days, there have been a lot of rumors and speculations around the name change of a popular faction on Raw. It was reported earlier that The Judgment Day would be rebranded soon and possibly renamed as ‘Street Trash’ moving forward. This news received major backlash from the fans. Following that, a new report has now emerged to provide an update on the same.

According to WrestleVotes, WWE has been pivoting from the plans of renaming The Judgment Day as ‘Street Trash’. This decision came after massive outrage from the fans on the internet. However, the term ‘Street Trash’ is going to be incorporated into the gimmick of the faction moving forward as a possible slogan or ideology.

Moreover, this scoffing idea came from the mind of Finn Balor, who is the new leader of the faction. In fact, WWE is already done with all the merchandising as well. The term ‘street trash’ was first used by Gunther on Raw a few weeks ago. The Ring General insulted Damian Priest and the faction by constantly bringing up the term.

This new iteration of the faction is pretty different from the original one. Rhea Ripley and Damian Priest were kicked out of the group after Dominik Mysterio betrayed Mami at SummerSlam. Following that, The Prince took the opportunity and turned his back on the Punisher. It has led to a civil war between the members of The Judgment Day. At Bash in Berlin, the Eradicator and the Archer of Infamy will be facing the newest members of this group, Liv Morgan and “Dirty” Dom.

Damian Priest reveals a story of the last major change into The Judgment Day

The major change that occurred to The Judgment Day and changed the trajectory of the group was the mind behind the faction, Edge, being removed. In 2022, the Rated-R Superstar was kicked out of the faction after he claimed himself as a leader. Recently, Damian Priest talked about that move and how he felt about it.

Speaking with Sports Illustrated, the Punisher revealed that the Ultimate Opportunist told him the night before that he was being removed from The Judgment Day. Priest emphasized that this news gave him mixed feelings about the future of the group at that time. He added that to him, it felt like his release was close, as Edge was the star who brought relevance to the group.

We’d just had a major moment joining together forming The Judgment Day. It felt like no time had passed, and then it was Edge who told me that he was being taken out of the group. He waited to tell me after TV one night when we were on the road.

Despite his initial fears, Priest, alongside Rhea Ripley and Finn Balor, took this opportunity and shone with glory for the next few months. In October 2022, Dominik Mysterio joined the group, which led to a skyrocketing rocket push for the faction. At one moment, all of the members had championship gold around their waists, etching their names as one of the most dominant WWE stables of all time.
