Barcelona keep their 6th Champions League title dreams alive after a 3-1 (4-2 on aggregate) victory at the Camp Nou against Napoli in the second leg of the last-16 tie.

Gennaro Gattuso’s side started strong in the opening 10 minutes. However, Napoli failed to defend Clement Lenglet’s header giving Barca an upper-hand to make it 1-1.

Lionel Messi rose to the occasion on the big day. The Little Magician scored a fabulous solo-goal getting past four Napoli players in the 23rd minute past David Ospina.

Messi goal was denied by the VAR claiming the Argentine controlled the ball through his hand just minutes later.

Koulibaly gaves away penalty to Barca for their 3rd goal of the night. While clearing the ball on the edge of the box Koulibaly completely misses the ball fouling Messi. Luis Suarez stepped up to extend the lead to 3 goals to nil.

Napoli pulled one back just before the half time. The referee pointed to the spot after Mertens was brought down by Ivan Rakitic. Lorenzo Insigne calmly puts it away to make it 3-1.

Barcelona with their heads held high will play Bayern Munich side that thrashed Chelsea 7-2 on aggregate in the quarter finals.
