Battlegrounds Mobile India Brings New Privacy Policy for Under 18 Age Players
Players who indicate they are under 18 will be presented with an advisory notice when they start PUBG Mobile India (BGMI). Pop-up notifications will be shown to such users who are underage remind players to take a break at periodic intervals. The new BGMI website was recently launched as the old PUBG Mobile India website went offline. Apart from the fact that PUBG Mobile Implements Age Restriction Rules Under 18, the new website also provides players with a number of details surrounding the game, including the Privacy Policy and Terms of Use.
While there are the usual restrictions in time spent per day, spanning up to 3 hours, the new website also answers numerous questions regarding underage players and their limitations including in-game spending of money on BGMI.
Any user of the platform less than 18 years of age would not be allowed to spend more than 3 hours and will be shown a pop-up notification for the same, and restricting access till the next suitable time. It is also officially declared that players will have to provide their parent’s or guardian’s mobile number to authenticate that they are legally eligible to play the game.

Furthermore, the in-game expenditure of any player below 18 will be restricted to INR 7000/-. BGMI’s privacy policy regarding underage players reads, “If you are under 18 years of age, you will be asked to provide the mobile phone number of your parent or guardian to confirm that you are legally eligible to play the game. If you are a parent or guardian and you believe your child under 18 years of age has provided us with personal information without your consent, you can contact us and request your child’s information to be deleted from our system.” All these measures and restrictions have been taken to verify young users’ ages in order to enforce playing time limits.
Hopefully, these rules, introduced as a response to concern over detrimental effects of playing habits, will prove to be the best for children under 18 years and give a balanced and healthy lifestyle that includes the right amount of everything.
