“Love you,” Bayley sends a heartfelt message to 36-year-old star after SmackDown

Bayley squared off against her fellow friend, Naomi, on the latest episode of SmackDown. After a thrilling back-and-forth encounter, The Role Model hit an Elbow Drop to punch her ticket to Bad Blood. Following the match, Naomi looked disappointed as she walked away from the ring. Despite that, Bayley sent a wholesome message to the 36-year-old.
The former Damage CTRL leader took to X to express her gratitude toward Naomi. Last week, the duo felt jubilant after gaining a double pinfall win on Nia Jax, thinking they would both face the latter in a triple threat at Bad Blood. However, SmackDown GM Nick Aldis spoiled their party by announcing a one-on-one #1 contender’s bout instead.
Although Naomi walked out on Bayley earlier in the night, the two friends made up in a backstage segment. In fact, the former TNA star confronted Jax’s best friend, Tiffany Stratton. Naomi challenged Ms. Money in the Bank to a match on next week’s SmackDown. At the moment, all seems well between the two former Women’s Champions.

Since returning to WWE, Naomi has saved Bayley several times against the likes of Damage CTRL, Jax, and Stratton. In fact, she has been one of the few members on the female roster to have backed the 35-year-old. However, their friendship has been put to the test for the past few weeks. Therefore, it will be interesting to see what’s in store for the pair after last night’s small mishap.

Without a doubt, Bayley was one of the pioneers of the women’s revolution in WWE. Moreover, she is already considered by many as a veteran of the business. The Role Model has also constantly helped in uplifting new stars both on and off screen.
Among those superstars is Liv Morgan, who recently spoke in detail about Bayley. While speaking with Peter Rosenberg on Cheap Heat, Morgan said that she asks the 35-year-old star for feedback on her matches. The Judgment Day member reminisced about her time in the Performance Center, where she watched Bayley rise to stardom alongside the rest of the Four Horsewomen.
Furthermore, Liv revealed how she was inspired by the legendary quartet. According to the Women’s World Champion, Bayley always has the appropriate advice, making it easy to approach her.
