The new WWE Women’s Champion, Bayley, wasted no time finding herself a new challenger for the title. As such, Tiffany Stratton and Naomi battled for the no. 1 contender spot, and the latter came out victorious. Looking back at their history with each other, The Role Model sent a wholesome message to her opponent before their upcoming match.

Bayley took to X and shared a beautiful message about her history with Naomi, not just professionally but personally too. She stated that she has enjoyed herself and has had a lot of fun traveling the world with her. The 34-year-old then called her a living legend and displayed her excitement to defend her championship against her.

On the latest episode of SmackDown, The Role Model came out and addressed the WWE Universe and talked about how much her win at WrestleMania meant to her. However, she was interrupted by Tiffany Stratton, who demanded an opportunity for the title. Moments later, Naomi came out and challenged Stratton to an impromptu bout.

The respect Bayley has for the 36-year-old star was clearly evident, as she was cheering for her throughout the match. Even though they share a strong relationship, they will have to put that aside during their bout. It will be interesting to see whether Bayley emerges victorious in her first championship defense or not.

Naomi asked an intriguing question in response to Bayley’s heartfelt message

Naomi has been on a roll since returning to WWE at the Royal Rumble. From lasting for an hour in the Rumble match to having a fantastic WrestleMania win, she had a perfect start to her second run. To add to that, she became the No. 1 contender for Bayley’s title. Following The Role Model’s aforementioned message, Naomi responded to it with a question of her own.

The 36-year-old replied and asked her a question that was connected to all the places they had traveled together. She asked whether Bayley would still go with her to Egypt after she took the title from her. Her post raised many questions in the minds of fans, as although The Role Model is her good friend, she has expressed her determination to claim the Women’s title.

Naomi is no stranger to winning the championship, as she has already held the belt multiple times with a combined reign of 150+ days. Fans will have to wait only five days for their bout, as it is set to take place on the upcoming episode of SmackDown.
