Becky Lynch and John Cena have had a great working relationship over the past decade. The Cenation leader has played a major role in the female superstar’s rise to stardom. She has praised the former WWE Champion for his helpful advice. In return, Cena has also talked about her book a lot, calling it raw and authentic.
During her recent appearance on Games with Names, Julian Edelman asked Lynch what she thought about Cena’s upcoming retirement. He mentioned how the 37-year-old’s daughter also looked up to the wrestling veteran. She often asks whether her mother was friends with the Hollywood superstar or not. The former Women’s Champion said that not only her daughter, but she also looked up to the 47-year-old herself.
The former Raw Superstar pointed out how Cena had handled both his wrestling and acting careers with a high level of class. She claimed that he had something akin to the Midas touch, where everything he touched turned to gold. She called him a great human being who was always level and calm.
He’s such a great human being. His mindset…I always ask him about it because he’s so level and so calm. He thinks deeply about things and is always there if you need advice or whatever else. He just has time for people. He’s an all-around good dude. Shoutout to The John Cena.

Becky Lynch said that the erstwhile Doctor of Thuganomics thought very deeply about things. Furthermore, he always made time for people and was always available for advice whenever someone needed it. Lynch has previously stated that she had a terribly confusing start in WWE during her time in NXT. However, Cena’s advice helped her out a ton.
Bryan Danielson comments on John Cena’s retirement
Bryan Danielson and John Cena have shared a ton of history during their time in WWE. The former World Heavyweight Champion chose the American Dragon as his opponent for SummerSlam 2013, and the two put on an enthralling match. If not for him being in AEW, fans would surely love to see these two clash once again during the legend’s retirement tour.
Speaking on Talksport, Danielson claimed that his face-off against Cena at SummerSlam 2013 was his favorite match that he had ever had in WWE to that point. Main eventing one of the biggest shows of the year and winning a world championship against the top star of the company simply didn’t feel real.
There’s people that they love him and there’s people that they hate him, and the way that they reacted back and forth, to that point, that was my favorite match that I’d had in WWE. It was about two minutes before I got pedigreed and then beaten for the title, but it was a really cool moment in my career.
