“I don’t think I’m the one,” Becky Lynch hits back at CM Punk in now-deleted tweet after the latter references her on WWE Raw

Becky Lynch has often been brought up by Seth Rollins‘ opponents during his promos. Various superstars like Roman Reigns and CM Punk have done so repeatedly in the past and even joked that the 38-year-old wears his wife’s clothes. The Best in the World brought up the former Women’s Champion once again on Raw, and this time, she was not afraid to shoot back.

The Straight Edge Superstar cut an incredible promo on the latest episode of Raw. During his segment, he said that Lynch should come get her man because if he got to Rollins first, he would put him in a wheelchair. The Man shot back at this remark by posting photos of CM Punk and Roxanne Perez wearing matching gear and insinuated that it is AJ Lee who needs to come get her man. The 38-year-old later deleted this tweet of hers.

Punk and even AJ Lee both have a very close relationship with Perez. The Second City Saint has been a huge mentor to the former NXT Women’s Champion throughout her wrestling career. She even refers to the couple as her wrestling parents, and they often have interactions on social media.

During the Elimination Chamber on Saturday, the Visionary hit a stomp on his rival even after Rollins had been eliminated himself, which cost Punk the chance to go to WrestleMania. It is no secret that the Chicago native is still mad about this. Thus, he called out the former Universal Champion on Raw.

Liv Morgan claims to have retired Becky Lynch

Becky Lynch was last seen in WWE during an episode of Raw, where she unsuccessfully challenged Liv Morgan for the Women’s World Championship. The Women’s Tag Team Champion had won the title from her at the previous PLE, King & Queen of the Ring, after interference by Dominik Mysterio. The 38-year-old has not been seen in a wrestling ring ever since the steel cage match.

WWE recently posted a video of Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez rewatching the 2024 Women’s Elimination Chamber match. During Lynch’s entrance, the former Women’s World Champion laughed at her and claimed to have retired her. She added that The Man could have never expected to be beaten and then retired by her.

It is highly unlikely that Lynch has retired from professional wrestling. In fact, her returning to WWE seems inevitable. She was present in the advertising for Raw on Netflix. Furthermore, she has even made several media appearances for the company. As per reports, she was going to return during the first episode of Raw on Netflix, but plans were changed.
