Liv Morgan will challenge Becky Lynch for the Women’s World Championship at King & Queen of the Ring in Saudi Arabia. In the weeks leading up to the match, the former Money in the Bank winner has made life hell for The Man. On the latest episode of Raw, she attacked the champion after her match by appearing out of nowhere.

Prior to this assault, the two were involved in a backstage altercation that ended with the champion striking her challenger. Liv Morgan interrupted Lyra Valkryia‘s interview to welcome her to the red brand after the WWE Draft. The former NXT Women’s Champion seemed surprised but accepted the compliment.

Furthermore, Morgan asked the NXT-call up if Becky Lynch had always been such a “b*tch.” Valkyria told the former Women’s Champion to ask her herself. The Man appeared behind her opponent and threw a punch at her. However, her strike had little impact, if it even connected at all.

Regardless, Morgan fell down to the ground while holding her jaw. Lynch bent down towards her and told her that she was not the one afraid of a face-to-face fight. Further, she shot back by also calling her a b*tch.

It is safe to say that Morgan got her revenge for the punch. As mentioned above, she appeared out of nowhere after Valkyria saved Lynch from Damage CTRL and sent her shoulder-first into the turnbuckle. The 29-year-old then quickly rolled out of the ring before Lyra Valkyria could get to her.

Becky Lynch’s weak punch to Liv Morgan on Raw leaves fans in splits

The wrestling world found this punch hilarious. Several fans brought up her devastating punch to Dominik Mysterio a few weeks ago. However, what happened this week on Raw was a sharp contrast to that. They brutally trolled Becky Lynch on social media and even drew comparisons to Hulk Hogan. The Hulkster has often been criticized for hitting his opponents with excessively weak chair shots.

The most egregious of these comes from an episode of WCW Monday Nitro. The 70-year-old was walking around the ring with a steel chair in his hand as Konnan lay near the edge of the ring. The former WWE Champion lightly tapped his head with the chair as the Cuban rolled around in the ring, grabbing his head. 

The Man was already being compared to Hulk Hogan for often going over young talent. In fact, her winning the Women’s World Title a few weeks ago on Raw caused massive fan backlash. This disaster further solidified her online moniker of ‘Becky Hogan.’
