Becky Lynch made her big return at WrestleMania 41 in Las Vegas. It was a last-minute call by WWE after a mystery assailant attacked former Women’s Champion Bayley. This week on Raw, The Man took over the stage to reveal herself behind the attack and explained why she decided to turn heel last week on Lyra Valkyria.
Big Time Becks made it clear she’s not apologizing for anything because, in her eyes, she’s not the bad guy. Lynch reminded everyone that Bayley had been attacking her since 2019 and never once apologized for it. So this time, Becky simply seized an opportunity — just like The Role Model used to do during her run with Damage CTRL.
Don’t you act like I’m the bad guy here, that woman has attacked me non stop since 2019 and not one time did she apologize to me.
Becky Lynch said
Originally, Bayley was set to team up with Women’s Intercontinental Champion Lyra Valkyria. However, after Lynch’s brutal attack, Bayley was pulled from the show and replaced by The Man herself. When The Lady of the Opera found out that her idol, Becky Lynch, had taken out a veteran like Bayley out of pure grudge and ego, she couldn’t stay silent — and ended up challenging the former Women’s Champion.

Moreover, The Bird Lady made it clear that Big Time Becks can run all she wants, but she has something Lynch might actually want — the Women’s Intercontinental Championship. Valkyria then challenged Lynch to a match at Backlash for the mid-card title, looking to get payback not just for herself, but also for The Role Model in St. Louis.
Becky Lynch posts a cryptic video after Raw from the backstage area
Becky Lynch fled the scene after Lyra Valkyria challenged her to a fight in Kansas City. The Man made it clear she would fight on her own terms, and Kansas City wasn’t the place she wanted to get her hands dirty. This led The Bird Lady to offer Lynch a shot at the Women’s Intercontinental Title. After Raw, the former Women’s Champion even posted a video from backstage addressing the situation.

Taking to X, the 38-year-old star was seen walking out of the arena with a fierce look on her face. Staring into the camera for a moment, Lynch simply declared herself “the greatest of all time.” It was a bold statement reflecting on the whirlwind week she’s had since her comeback—first paving her way back at WrestleMania, and now securing herself a shot at the Women’s Intercontinental Title.

The WWE legend unexpectedly stole a WrestleMania moment from Bayley, citing old grudges as the reason behind her actions. Now, it’ll be interesting to see how the former Damage CTRL member responds to this unceremonious attack by her former friend.
With Lyra Valkyria’s Women’s Intercontinental Title now in the mix, Lynch has once again cemented herself as a cornerstone of the women’s division.
Bayley shared a screenshot for Lyra Valkyria after Becky Lynch’s attack
Bayley remains one of the most beloved baby faces on Monday Night Raw. Fans were disappointed to see her miss this year’s WrestleMania, and they’re not the only ones. Even Lyra Valkyria seems to be missing The Role Model, as she sent an emotional message to the former Women’s Champion.

Taking to X, the former Damage CTRL member shared a screenshot of a chat with Lyra Valkyria. In the message, Valkyria mentioned that she already misses the former Women’s Champion—ending it with an angry emoji. The emoji seemed to reflect her frustration with Becky Lynch’s recent actions in their ongoing feud.

Before her injury, Bayley and Valkyria had become a fan-favorite duo on Monday Night Raw, even eyeing the Women’s Tag Team Titles together. However, plans took an unexpected turn, and with Bayley now sidelined, the 35-year-old will be out of action for a while. It’ll be interesting to see when and how she makes her return from here.
