Liv Morgan has had her sights set on a world title for a long time. She has come up just short on multiple occasions, including the battle royale that crowned Becky Lynch the current Women’s World Champion. The 29-year-old has finally gotten another shot at the title and will be looking to take down the current champion to win her second-ever world championship.

Ahead of their match in Saudi Arabia, Becky Lynch made sure to send her opponent a warning. In a post on X, the 37-year-old said that her challenger better be prepared to do what she had never done before because The Man was coming for a fight at the King & Queen of the Ring PLE. The former Women’s Champion replied to this tweet, saying that she was fully prepared.

The duo had an intense segment on the most recent episode of Raw. Lynch went out to the ring to berate and call out Morgan, referring to her as a coward. The challenger interrupted this promo and came out to defend herself. She claimed that getting revenge for the Irish wrestler slapping her did not make her the bad guy.

Further, Morgan claimed that abandoning her when Damage CTRL came out to beat down the champion did not make her a coward. All she cared about was completing the ‘Liv Morgan Revenge Tour’. This involved her beating Lynch for the Women’s World Title and being on top of the Raw women’s division.

The promo between the two female superstars started getting heated up, leading to Becky Lynch losing her temper. She dared her opponent to put her money where her mouth was and come down to the ring to fight her. Morgan accepted and started heading towards the ring.

However, just as she was about to enter the ring, Liv Morgan stepped away. She made fun of Lynch and claimed to be doing the smart thing. She said that she would wait for Saturday, fight her then, and become the new Women’s World Champion.

The official WWE account posted this moment on Instagram and caught the attention of former WWE star CJ Perry. The formerly-known Lana reposted this moment on her story and claimed that this was the definition of working smart. She was proud of Morgan and commented that it was extremely fun getting under people’s skin.
