“Of all my opponents, AJ is the most dangerous,” Patricio Freire assures Featherweight title win remain around his waist after Bellator 263

Bellator recently announced one of the biggest fights in the promotion history, as the two-division Bellator champion, Patricio Freire is going to defend his title against the undefeated MMA fighter and number one ranked Bellator Featherweight, A.J. Mckee in the main event of Bellator 263.
This fight will determine the winner of the Bellator Featherweight Grand Prix and the winner will take home the Bellator Featherweight title along with a prize of 1$ Million. Talking about this in the recent press conference where the promotion announced this fight, Freire says,
“I believe that’s a perfect fight for me, Now, I’m a little bit older than the rest of the division. I know the power that I have, how fast I am, and I’m gonna use this in my favor.” {H/T MMA Junkie}
Patricio Freire is coming into this fight with a seven-fight win streak and since he won the Bellator Featherweight title, he has defended it five times. Mckee is still to face a loss in his MMA career and Freire believes he is going to be the one to end his undefeated streak.
He added, “Of all my opponents, AJ is the most dangerous, I know that I’m ready to defend my title. I know I’m gonna win this fight and prove that his father is wrong.” {H/T MMA Junkie}
A.J. Mckee’s father and coach, Antonio McKee, said that during the tournament that this is going to be the easiest fight of the tournament for his son.
Patricio Freire believes Mckee is going to be a world champion but not in this fight
Patricio Pitbull and his coach complimented A.J. Mckee’s achievement throughout the press conference. Pitbull also said he is going to be the world champion one day but he also added, after Bellator 263 he is going to be the one who’ll be leaving the Octagon with the belt around his waist.
He added, “One day, you’re gonna be the world champion, but not now, I know that he wants my belt and I’m watching this, I’m still here as the champion and I’m still going to be champion after this fight. You will see that.”
