Cris Cyborg successfully defended her featherweight title for the fifth time after a first-round TKO against Cat Zingano at Bellator 300. The event took place at Pechanga Arena, San Diego. The fans went wild after watching Cyborg’s hammer fist finish to the title fight. The TKO came at a crucial stage of round 1, as the clock was stopped at 4:01.

The clip released by Bellator MMA showed a glimpse of the TKO finish. Both fighters exchanged a few before Zingano considered taking it to the ground. This decision didn’t turn out in her favour as Cyborg got the positional advantage to pound her. After 7-8 punches, the referee stepped in to award Cyborg with the win. Twitter fans took their turns to react to the finish. One of those reactions included a comment that said, “Jesus Christ. Beat her straight back to OnlyFans. What a demolition. Can we get Cyborg vs Pacheco or Harrison, or does that make too much sense?

Cyborg’s past record in MMA made her a heavy favorite for this fight. Her MMA record includes a total of 21 knockouts from 27 wins. Currently, she is 6-0 in Bellator and is also the pound-for-pound no.1 fighter in the promotion. Her experiences from previous promotions like Strikeforce, UFC, and Invicta FC have greatly influenced her success. Reportedly, Cyborg won championships in each of these promotions.

Cyborg’s opponent, Zingano, also previously competed in the UFC. However, Zingano’s last title fight came back in 2015 against Ronda Rousey. It was a disappointing result for Zingano as Cyborg extended her legacy in combat sports after this win.
