Benzema voices his frustration over Vinicius

Benzema played a crucial role and scored the first goal in the tense 2-2 draw with Borussia Monchengladbach. However, the team were 1-0 down at half time and this frustrated Benzema. In a shocking rant, Benzema told Mendy not to pass the ball to Vinicius because he felt the player wasn’t giving his best for the team.

Benzema is considered by Vinicius to be his idol and is learning a lot from his experience. However, Benzema got frustrated with Vinicius during the match against Monchengladbach. Cameras caught Benzema talking to Mendy in the tunnel and saying, “Brother don’t play to him. On my mother’s life. He is playing against us.”
To be fair, Benzema did speak to Vinicius after this incident and advised him about his game. Moreover, Benzema put up a cryptic post in reply on Instagram saying, “Dogs bark but the caravan moves.” He basically meant that he will keep scoring goals despite all the criticism from his haters.
Zidane has his task cut out to unite the squad now with Real Madrid struggling with consistency this season. Moreover Isco too criticized Zidane for not giving him enough chances to play. Real Madrid are currently in second place in La Liga and in the last place of their Champions League group.
