BGMI fans can finally heave a sigh of relief as some authentic sources suggest that Krafton will conduct the long awaited BGMI India Series 2021 in the first week of December. In addition to that, an invitational scrim will be held for the best teams in the country.

BGIS is an open for all tournament and the first official competitive tournament of Battlegrounds Mobile India. The announcement of BGMI India Series 2021 was made in the month of July and was scheduled to commence from August. However, the officials kept on delaying the tournament without specifying a reason. Fans kept on wondering and just when their disappointment filled up to the brim, there are rumours that BGMI series will begin from the first week of December.

As per the sources of Gamzo, it has been revealed that Krafton will host the qualifiers (Stage 1) of the open for all tournament of Battlegrounds Mobile India in the first week of December. If previous format is to considered, fans can expect that the finals of BGIS 2021 comprising 16 qualified teams will begin in the month of February.

It has also been revealed that the officials have decided to host an invitational scrim before the beginning of the official tournament. The invitational scrim is likely to be called “GRIND” and will consist of 32 best BGMI teams in the country. Although we have not got the full details regarding the scrims, it is expected that an official announcement will be made soon.

The registrations for BGIS 2021 were originally scheduled to be closed in the month of August but surprisingly, the registrations are still going on. A total of 540,000 registrations have been reported as of August 2021. Prominent BGMI face Abhijeet “Ghatak” Andhare had revealed that the issue of hackers is forcing the officials to delay the tournament.

As the incidents of hacking in the game is decreasing lately, due to strict measures taken by Krafton, fans are expecting that BGMI India Series 2021 will be conducted without any delay. The official tournament boasts a whopping prize pool of 1 Crores and will be conducted in 6 stages.
