It seems that Krafton does not wish to rest when it comes to the expansion of the eSports scenario of Battlegrounds Mobile India. Within a week of the conclusion of BGMI India Series 2021, Krafton is all set to host BGMI Livik Aftermath Showdown.
Undoubtedly, fans can say that the eSports field of Battlegrounds Mobile India has created a significant place in the country within a very less period of time. Considering few aspects such as record breaking views on major tournaments and huge prize pools, BGMI Esports is ruling the hearts of Indian gamers. As we approach close towards Reuplic Day, Krafton wishes to celebrate it by hosting BGMI Livik Aftermath Showdown.

BGMI Livik Aftermath Showdown
As suggested by the name, BGMI Livik Aftermath Showdown will exclusively be played on the new mode of Livik map which was introduced in the 1.8 update. The Aftermath mode has completely changed the appearance of Livik by adding volcanic eruptions, collapsed buildings on the map, giving it a post-apocalyptic look. A total of 13 teams have been invited to the tournament which have been mentioned below:

Schedule
The BGMI Livik Aftermath Showdown is going to commence from 25th January,2022. Although, it is not known whether this will be a one day affair or the tournament will take place on the next day as well, considering the occasion of Republic Day. Krafton had previously hosted Freedom Face-Off tournament for celebrating Independence Day on the battlegrounds.
Prize pool and where to watch?
The BGMI Livik Aftermath Showdown features a prize pool of 4,50,000 INR. However, the prize pool distribution would be known once the tournament is live-streamed. It can be expected that just like other official tournaments, individual rewards for players will be kept as well. Fans can catch the action live on the official YouTube and Facebook channels of Battlegrounds Mobile India.
