Bianca Belair pushes for a dream match at WrestleMania against former Women’s World Champion

Bianca Belair has been working in the tag team division as of late. Her team with Jade Cargill has been pretty successful, as they became the Women’s Tag Team Champions twice. However, being on a tag team doesn’t mean she can’t stay away from singles’ action. Recently, the EST of WWE pushed for a major dream match for WrestleMania against the former Women’s World Champion.
Belair reshared an Instagram story of a fan. The fan had asked for a match between Bianca and Rhea Ripley at WrestleMania. The 35-year-old star posted this story as a sign of her interest in this mega match. The Eradicator and the EST of WWE have never faced each other on the main roster. Therefore, this match has been on the list of potential dream matches for several fans.
Both stars were the faces of the NXT during their tenures. They continued their dominance and went on to become the faces of the women’s division on the main roster. In fact, WWE has kept them on separate brands to seemingly delay the inevitable feud. Mami even considers the record-breaking former Women’s Champion as the greatest of all time. Therefore, there is also a sense of mutual respect.
At the moment, Ripley is after Liv Morgan to get her Women’s World Championship. As for Belair, she recently reclaimed the tag team titles alongside Jade Cargill. She is expected to have her anticipated WrestleMania dream match with The Storm next year in Las Vegas.
Mercedes Mone reflected on her match with Bianca Belair at WrestleMania
Bianca Belair has quite an impressive WrestleMania record. She has been undefeated at the Grandest Stage of Them All in her four matches. It all started in 2021 when the EST of WWE main evented the Show of Shows with Sasha Banks, now Mercedes Mone.
Speaking with WTOP, the CEO reflected on her match against the former Women’s Champion at WrestleMania. She called it the biggest moment of her life. Mone added that when she saw Belair in the ring, they couldn’t hold their tears back. It was a special moment for her and for Bianca as well, added the AEW TBS Champion.

It was the first time women main evented WrestleMania in a singles match. The two stars went on to put on a show where the 35-year-old emerged victorious. That moment marked the start of the EST era in WWE. Later on, the Women’s Tag Champion went on to defeat stars like Becky Lynch and Asuka at the Show of Shows.
